Antony Bugg-Levine

CEO, Nonprofit Finance Fund

Antony Bugg-Levine is CEO of the Nonprofit Finance Fund, one of USA’s leading community development financial institutions. He is also the founding board chair of the Global Impact Investing Network, and convened the 2007 meeting that coined the phrase “impact investing.” He was previously Managing Director at the Rockefeller Foundation, and co-led the Foundation’s program work focused on impact investing. Prior to joining Rockefeller, he served as the Country Director of TechnoServe in Nairobi, Kenya where he helped to design and implement business solutions to rural poverty. As a former consultant with McKinsey, he advised Fortune 100 clients in the financial services and health care sectors, and helped develop new frameworks for incorporating social dynamics into corporate strategy. He is an associate adjunct professor in the Social Enterprise Program at the Columbia Business School. He is also a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. Antony received his BA from Yale University and MA from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
